Vanguard Visibility+ Achieves Successful Implementation in Asia & India
Cargo receiving module provides customers unrivaled advantages!

Vanguard Corporate USA - Long Beach, CA (April 3, 2014) – Vanguard Logistics Services is pleased to announce Vanguard Visibility+, an innovative and value-added application for cargo receiving, is now utilized by global customers with cargo moving through Vanguard facilities in Asia and India.

Vanguard's global customers are able to view pictures of their cargo, including the marks and numbers, on the global Vanguard website www.vls-global.com within just a few minutes of the cargo's arrival at Vanguard's CFS facilities throughout Asia. Customers receive a copy of the shipping notes and truck bill, a formatted Dock Receipt complete with piece counts, weight and dimensions and other documents that accompany the shipment within an hour of cargo arriving at the CFS. "We have been able to cut processes that normally take a couple of days to complete to now be almost instantaneous through Vanguard Visibility+. We save our customers time and money by allowing them to readily view information needed to make critical decisions about their cargo", commented Charlie Brennan, CEO.

Vanguard's customers are extremely pleased with all of the unique advantages that come with use of Vanguard Visibility+. "Customers recently commented that by using this module through their secure access rights to our website, Vanguard Visibility+ has already saved them time and resources when acquiring the information they need to provide to their own customers", explained Jeff Lee, Regional Managing Director – Southeast Asia.

Through Vanguard Visibility+, customers are also provided Overage, Shortage and Damage (O, S & D) notifications via e-mail soon after the cargo arrives at the CFS. If there are any differences in what is received as compared to the booking, this module allows Vanguard staff to assist customers in resolving issues much quicker than previously possible. "Our Vanguard staff in Asia is more efficient since the advent of Vanguard Visibility+. Instead of collecting information and pictures from the CFS through phone and e-mail in response to requests from their own customers, our staff is now able to place greater focus on serving our customers' more critical demands", concluded Lee.

Vanguard recently began use of this application in Singapore, Malaysia (Port Kelang, Penang, Johor), Thailand, Indonesia, Shanghai, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Cochin, Tuticorin, Bangalore and Kolkata. The rest of the Vanguard network will follow shortly thereafter.
